Bikie to appear in court over alleged saw attack

A BIKIE gang member will appear in Lismore Local Court today after allegedly assaulting a man with a circular saw last year.

Police allege about 7.30am on November 17 last year, a 31-year-old member of the Lone Wolf Outlaw Motorcycle Gang went to a house in North Lismore armed with a circular saw.

He allegedly attacked a 30-year-old man with the saw.

Emergency services took the man to Lismore Base Hospital where he underwent surgery for injuries to his face and arm.

About 9.30am yesterday police from Richmond Local Area Command arrested a 31-year-old man on Alice Street, Goonellabah.

He was taken to Lismore Police Station and charged with cause grievous bodily harm to person with intent.

The man was refused bail and will appear at Lismore Local Court today.
