Alleged Bandidos outlaw bikie gang members arrested by Queensland Police in Brisbane, Gold Coast sting

Queensland detectives have arrested seven people in an outlaw motorcycle gang sting in south-east Queensland.

Police launched simultaneous dawn raids across Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Logan targeting alleged members of the Bandidos outlaw motorcycle gang.

Those arrested include the president and sergeant of arms of the Centro and West End branches.

Police say they expect to lay charges against the men for offences including the extortion of money and property and the serious assault of a number of people.

The charges are expected to be laid later today.

The Sunday raids follow a 10-day operation in the Queensland-New South Wales border area, which involved police from both states and the Australian Federal Police.

On Friday, police said they had arrested eight alleged bikies, shut down the Odin Warriors clubhouse at Tweed Heads and the Mongols base at Chinderah, and seized weapons, drugs, a pill press and cash.

The eight alleged bikies were charged with 30 offences.
