GEORGETOWN, Ohio – A Brown County grand jury handed down multiple indictments against five men allegedly involved in an incident in the parking lot of an Aberdeen, Ohio, business.
The cases stem from an incident in the early morning of April 17, when several motorcyclists confronted a security employee outside Jethro’s on U.S. 52 in Aberdeen, resulting in injuries to one of the bikers and the employee, police said.
The men are allegedly members of the Iron Horsemen motorcycle club who were attempting to enter the business, police said.
Robert Steven Bowling of Cincinnati, was indicted on felony charges of participating in a criminal gang; two counts of felonious assault, with a criminal gang specification and being a repeat violent offender; aggravated riot, with a criminal gang activity specification; and misdemeanor assault, aggravated trespass and criminal trespass.
Lawrence Wayne Allen Jr. of Peebles, Ohio, was indicted on felony charges of participating in a criminal gang; felonious assault, with a criminal gang specification; aggravated riot, with a criminal gang activity specification; and misdemeanor assault, aggravated trespass and criminal trespass.
Wesley Alan Gibson of Hillsboro, Ohio, was indicted on felony charges of participating in a criminal gang; felonious assault, with a criminal gang specification; aggravated riot, with a criminal gang activity specification; and misdemeanor assault, aggravated trespass and criminal trespass.
John A. McIntosh Jr. of West Union, Ohio, was indicted on felony charges of participating in a criminal gang; felonious assault, with a criminal gang specification; aggravated riot, with a criminal gang activity specification; and misdemeanor assault, aggravated trespass and criminal trespass.
And Franklin Delano Griffith III of Manchester, Ohio, was indicted on felony charges of participating in a criminal gang; felonious assault, with a criminal gang specification; aggravated riot, with a criminal gang activity specification; and misdemeanor assault, aggravated trespass and criminal trespass.
Bond on Bowling was set at $150,000 cash or 10 percent; Gibson’s arraignment is scheduled for May 31; McIntosh is free on a $35,000 bond; Griffith is free on a $25,000 bond, and Allen was issued a summons to appear to answer the indictment.
Hearings have been set for June 6 in Brown County Court of Common Pleas.
