The Warlocks have been the top fund raiser for Warm the Children every year for the past ten years and the money is raised through their annual crab feast and hog roast traditionally held on the first Saturday of August.

Warm the Children is co-sponsored by the Mineral Daily News Tribune and Mineral County Family Resource Network, and provides warm winter clothing for Mineral County children in need.

Applications for assistance from the WTC program are being accepted now through Wednesday, Aug. 31.

The Warlocks would like to thank the bands who played for the event – Luke Hoover, Donny Carmen, Switch Gear, Anger Box, and Diamond – as well as Lumber & Things, Automated Packaging, Hayward Wilson State Farm, Mark Bouie and everyone else who helped in any way.
