Warlocks gives WTC a great start

(picture) — KEYSER – The Warlocks Motor Cycle Club, Rock Hill Chapter, once again gave the Mineral County Warm the Children campaign a great kick off with a donation of $3,100.

The donation represented the proceeds of their annual Warm the Children Crab Feast, held Aug. 4 at their club house on Knobley Road.

The Warlocks have been the largest single contributor to Warm the Children every year for the past several years.

Warm the Children provides warm winter clothing for Mineral County children in need and is co-sponsored by the Mineral Daily News Tribune and Mineral County Family Resource Network.

Warm the Children and the Warlocks would like to thank the following for making monetary donations to the cause: Boddy’s Automotive, Lumber & Things, Automated Packaging Systems, Wilma’s Diner, Steve’s Muffler Center, Romney Auction LLC, K&T Cycles Inc., Anderson’s Corner, Knight’s Auto Body, Keyser Order of the Orioles, and E-Z Money LLC. A special thanks to Darling Kisamore.

Bob Fike of the Herald Printing House donated the tickets for the event, and Wepco Federal Credit Union in Keyser and First United Bank & Trust served as ticket locations.

Donations are always accepted for Warm the Children at the News Tribune office, 21 Shamrock Dr., Keyser, or may be mailed to: Warm the Children, P.O. Box 879, Keyser, WV 26726.
