Ghost Riders raise thousands to provide Christmas for Elizabethton children

ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) – Sometimes Santa drops the reindeer and rides a bike instead.

Some of Santa's helpers took the same approach this year with the Ghost Riders Motorcycle Club hosting their annual toy drive for the Elizabethton Housing and Development Agency.

The Ghost Riders have worked with the housing agency for over 10 years.

Each year, the Ghost Riders set up at the Elizabethton Wal-Mart and raise thousands of dollars. The money donated goes to purchasing children from the EHDA toys and other gifts.

Children, their families, and EHDA staff were able to share in the Christmas spirit today for a party, where children received gifts from the money raised.
