Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle gang’s El Paso president arrested by police

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The president of an El Paso motorcycle club alleged attacked a rival gang member earlier this month and was arrested on Monday, El Paso Police said.

Charles Anderson, 46, is the El Paso chapter president of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang. He was arrested at about 4:45 a.m. on April 29 in the 8300 block of Mt. Latona in Northeast El Paso, a news release from the El Paso Police Department said.

Police said he is facing engaging in organized criminal activity/assault in connection with the assault on David Griego, a 48-year-old former rival gang member, on April 5 at the Busted Knuckle Garage, 4300 block of Hondo Pass.

Anderson was arrested by the SWAT team and Gang Unit on a warrant Monday morning. He was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $25,000 bond.
