Dayton Motorcycle club delivers toys to nonprofit

(photo gallery) — KETTERING, Ohio (WKEF/WRGT)- Motorcycles rolled into the parking lot next to Indian Ripple Rd. in Kettering at around noon on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020. The riders were wearing their motorcycle club leathers and had packages full of toys. The Dayton chapter of MC Toros held a toy run for For the Love of Children (FLOC).

Damon Smith the president of the Dayton chapter said:

The community supports the Toros. The Toros support the community.

After gathering the toys, the club drove to the the FLOC offices at West 1st St. They were greeted there by volunteers who helped collect the toys.

FLOC helps neglected and abused children and also helps children in foster care. Toy Cottage Organizational Volunteer Sue Spiegel said they were grateful for the help this year. COVID-19 has created additional obstacles for the nonprofit. Many of the toys will go to children in need during the Christmas season.
