DETECTIVES are continuing their crackdown on bikies, arresting five people following a major operation targeting the trafficking of drugs on the Gold Coast.
Early this morning, police raided fives homes in Coomera, Helensvale, Robina, Carrara and Bundall and a premises in Burleigh with links to the Black Uhlans Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.
During the searches police have located firearms, drugs including Cocaine, MDMA and steroids along with a substantial amount of cash.
Five people were arrested and remain in police custody.
No charges have been laid at this stage.
It follows a six-month operation involving the Gold Coast Criminal Investigation Branch, the Major and Organised Crime Squad and other agencies, looking into the trafficking of cocaine and MDMA across the city.
Queensland Police will be holding a media conference on the operation this afternoon.
