Guns, body armor, ammunition, drugs, and gang indicia “related to a documented outlaw motorcycle gang,” a sheriff’s sergeant said.
MURRIETA, CA — Law enforcement is continuing to investigate outlaw motorcycle gang activity that led to a search warrant service this week in Murrieta.
The search warrant was served at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at a home on San Sebastian Avenue by members of the Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force along with assistance from the Murrieta Police Department’s Community Policing Team, according to a report from Sgt. Steve Dyer of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department.
“The warrant was in reference to an ongoing investigation,” Dyer’s report states.
During the warrant service, three loaded firearms (one that was reported stolen from out of state), body armor, ammunition, drugs and gang indicia “related to a documented outlaw motorcycle gang” were found, according to Dyer.
No arrests were publicly announced, but Dyer said the investigation was continuing. It’s unclear what led law enforcement to the San Sebastian residence.
