Detectives from the ECHO Taskforce, with the assistance from the Australian Federal Police National Anti-Gangs Squad, have arrested a man and seized guns and drugs.
Investigators executed a search warrant at a Furlong Rd, Sunshine residence and arrested a 20-year-old man, who is a member of the Hells Angels Outlaw Motorcycle Gang, at the scene.
Investigators have seized:
• A quantity of powder suspected of being a drug of dependence;
• A shotgun;
• Two handguns; and
• A quantity of ammunition.
The Sunshine man remains in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
This arrest forms part of a joint investigation by the ECHO Taskforce and the AFP National Anti-Gangs Squad into the trafficking of illicit drugs.
