There are fears tensions in Perth’s underworld have ignited after a tattoo parlour owned by the wife of a slain bikie boss was allegedly torched on Tuesday night.
Amanda Martin, the widow of Rebels bikie leader Nick Martin, owns the Ellenbrook business, called Obsidian Ink.
Her husband was gunned down in front of shocked onlookers at Perth Motorplex in December last year.
Just before midnight on Tuesday, two armed men allegedly stormed the tattoo parlour when a staff member opened the front door after finishing work with a client.
Kerosene was allegedly poured over the furniture and set alight before the robbers left with around $4000 cash.
Gang Crime Squad detectives and TRG officers raided two residences on Wednesday, one in Jindalee and another in The Vines.
Court date
Meanwhile, a 35-year-old man accused of assassinating Martin was due to front court on Wednesday but prosecutors filed a two-month adjournment.
The man will appear in court in August.
Home invasion
In an unrelated incident, a Comanchero bikie and two associates have been charged after a home invasion in East Victoria Park on Wednesday night.
Police say a group of four people, two of them armed with guns, forced their way into a Kent Street home and threatened and assaulted a 38-year-old man.
It’s alleged the group aimed a firearm at the man’s head before threatening him and firing the gun inside the home.
Police say the man also received facial injuries after being assaulted.
He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital for treatment but has been released.
Charges laid
Gang Crime Squad detectives seized a firearm at the scene and have charged two men and a woman over the home invasion.
A 37-year-old man from Joondalup has been charged with aggravated burglary and commit, aggravated possession of an unlicensed firearm and act or omission causing bodily harm or danger.
A 31-year-old man from Inglewood and a 29-year-old woman from Connolly have been charged with aggravated burglary and causing bodily harm or danger.
They were due to appear in Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday.
