A notorious outlaw bikie boss has joined his gang on an organised ride through the streets of a busy CBD which ended with burnouts in a public city car park.

Members of the Mongols gang stood out from the crowd as they roared through Melbourne‘s CBD on Saturday, attracting the attention of other motorists and pedestrians.

Joining fellow bikies on the ride was notorious gang leader Toby Mitchell, who later shared photos from the catch-up with his 155,000 Instagram followers.

Footage also emerged of a Mongols member loudly revving up the engine while performing burnouts in a car park as smoke billowed from his motorbike.

Several other bikies can also be seen drinking bottles of beer.

Mitchell also shared a photo of himself posing for a photo standing in a line with fellow Mongols dressing in their distinctive black and white uniform on Southbank Boulevard.

The photo was captioned with the group’s slogan ‘MFFM’, which stands for ‘Mongols Forever, Forever Mongols’.

Mitchell is a veteran bikie and convicted criminal who has survived two attempts on his life and has spent time behind bars.

Mitchell pleaded guilty to possessing ice, cocaine and a baton after police searched his car and Docklands apartment in September 2015.

In June 2016, he was sentenced to almost two years in jail after he was busted with drugs and a weapon in his car.

Mitchell required ongoing medical attention after he was shot five times in the back outside a Brunswick gym in 2011.

Mitchell had 21 surgeries to save his life, and a further nine following health complications.

The shooting effectively ended Mitchell’s career as a personal trainer and a ‘fitness fanatic’ who had previously been a kickboxing champion.

The ex-Bandido also survived being shot in the arm in March 2013 after more than 30 rounds were fired at a Melton bikie clubhouse.

Mitchell was formerly a senior member of the Bandidos – an arch rival of the Mongols but defected in 2013.

He took over taken over as president of the Mongols Outlaw Motorcycle Gang in September 2020.

Mitchell was back in the headlines earlier this year after CCTV footage of him being knocked out in a brawl by a homeless man was shown in court.

The video shows a ‘street kid’ dressed like a ‘lumberjack’ knock Mitchell on his behind after the feared bikie had enjoyed a boozy night out with mates.
