Two arrested in gang and meth distribution crackdown in Queensland’s south-east

Two people have been arrested and charged following raids in Queensland Police’s ‘Operation Tango Magnitude’ – a major investigation cracking down on methylamphetamine distribution in the state’s south-east.The ongoing investigation led to the execution of two search warrants in Logan and Flagstone, near Brisbane, where a man and woman were arrested.The pair was charged with 16 offences, including drug, firearm and property related charges.

During the searches, police seized quantities of methylamphetamine and cannabis as well as weapons including two handguns, a semi-automatic rifle, a flick knife, knuckle dusters and ammunition.Police also seized a stolen Ducati Motorcycle stolen from a Nerang business.Those arrested include a 38-year-old Flagstone man associated with the Bandidos Outlaw Motorcycle Gang (OMCG.)
