OMCG members arrested at Christies Beach, South Australia

Three men connected to an outlaw motorcycle gang were arrested yesterday in relation to breaches of bail and supervision orders.

It will be alleged that just before 7.30pm on Wednesday 10 November, Crime Gangs Task Force detectives went to a Christies Beach address, after receiving information that two members and an associate of the Nomads OMCG were at the premises together, in breach of conditions preventing them from associating.

The two members, a 38-year-old man and a 33-year-old man, both of Christies Beach, were charged with breach of bail. They were bailed to appear in the Christies Beach Magistrates Court on 9 December and 6 December respectively.

The associate, a 31-year-old Hope Valley man was charged with breaching an extended supervision order. He was remanded in custody to appear in court at a later date.

Detective Chief Inspector David Scutchings of the Serious and Organised Crime Branch says, “SAPOL will continue to pursue members and associates of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs who choose to defy legislation specifically aimed at maintaining community confidence and safety.”
